அபியா தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட நாலுலட்சம்பேராகிய பராக்கிரம சேவகரின் இராணுவத்தாரை யுத்தத்திற்கு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினான்; யெரொபெயாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட எட்டுலட்சம் பேராகிய பலத்த பராக்கிரமசாலிகளை அவனுக்கு எதிராக யுத்தத்திற்கு நிறுத்தினான்.
