அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலர் மிஸ்பாவிலிருந்து பெலிஸ்தரைப் பின் தொடர்ந்துபோய், பெத்காரீம் பள்ளத்தாக்குமட்டும் அவர்களை முறிய அடித்தார்கள்.
