Deuteronomy 31:23
మరియు యెహోవా నూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషు వకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునీవు నిబ్బరము గలిగి ధైర్యముగా నుండుము; నేను ప్రమాణ పూర్వకముగా వారికిచ్చిన దేశమునకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లను నీవు తోడుకొని పోవలెను, నేను నీకు తోడై యుందును.

ద్వితీయోపదేశకాండమ 31:3
నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నీకు ముందుగా దాటిపోయి ఆ జనములను నీ యెదుట నుండకుండ నశింపజేయును, నీవు వారి దేశ మును స్వాధీనపరచుకొందువు. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చి యున్నట్లు యెహోషువ నీ ముందుగా దాటిపోవును.

నీవు బ్రదుకు దినములన్నిటను ఏ మనుష్యుడును నీ యెదుట నిలువలేక యుండును; నేను మోషేకు తోడై యుండినట్లు నీకును తోడైయుందును.

మన పితరులు తమ పెద్దలచేత దానిని తీసికొనిన వారై, దేవుడు తమ యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టిన జనములను వారు స్వాధీనపరచుకొన్నప్పుడు, యెహోషువతోకూడ ఈ దేశములోనికి దానిని తీసికొనివచ్చిరి. అది దావీదు దినములవరకు ఉండెను.
