ఆమోసు 5

1 ఇశ్రాయేలువారలారా, మిమ్మునుగూర్చి నేనెత్తు ఈ అంగలార్పు మాట ఆలకించుడి.

2 కన్యకయైన ఇశ్రాయేలు కూలిపోయెను, ఆమె మరెన్నటికిని లేవదు; లేవనెత్తువా డొకడును లేక ఆమె భూమిమీద పడవేయబడియున్నది.

3 ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగాఇశ్రాయేలు వారిలో వెయ్యిమందియై బయలు వెళ్లిన పట్టణస్థు లలో నూరుమంది తప్పించుకొని వత్తురు; నూరుమందియై బయలువెళ్లిన పట్టణస్థులలో పదిమంది తప్పించుకొని వత్తురు.

4 ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చున దేమనగానన్నాశ్రయించుడి, నన్నాశ్రయించినయెడల మీరు బ్రదుకుదురు.

5 ​బేతేలును ఆశ్రయింపకుడి, గిల్గా లులో ప్రవేశింపకుడి, బెయేర్షెబాకు వెళ్లకుడి; గిల్గాలు అవశ్యముగా చెరపట్టబడిపోవును, బేతేలు శూన్యమగును.

6 యెహోవాను ఆశ్రయించుడి; అప్పుడు మీరు బ్రదుకు దురు, ఆశ్రయింపనియెడల బేతేలులో ఎవరును ఆర్పి వేయలేకుండ అగ్ని పడినట్లు ఆయన యోసేపు సంతతిమీద పడి దాని నాశనముచేయును.

7 న్యాయమును అన్యాయ మునకు మార్చి, నీతిని నేలను పడవేయువారలారా,

8 ఆయన సప్తఋషీ నక్షత్రములను మృగశీర్ష నక్షత్రమును సృష్టించినవాడు, కారు చీకటిని ఉదయముగా మార్చు వాడు, పగటిని రాత్రి చీకటివలె మార్పుచేయువాడు, సముద్రజలములను పిలిచి వాటిని భూమిమీద పొర్లి పారజేయువాడు.

9 ఆయన పేరు యెహోవా; బలా ఢ్యులమీదికి ఆయన నాశము తెప్పింపగా దుర్గములు పాడగును.

10 అయితే గుమ్మములో నిలిచి బుద్ధి చెప్పువారి మీద జనులు పగపట్టుదురు; యథార్థ ముగా మాటలాడు వారిని అసహ్యించుకొందురు.

11 దోషనివృత్తికి రూకలు పుచ్చుకొని నీతిమంతులను బాధపెట్టుచు, గుమ్మమునకు వచ్చు బీదవారిని అన్యాయము చేయుటవలన

12 ​మీ అప రాధములు విస్తారములైనవనియు, మీ పాపములు ఘోర మైనవనియు నేనెరుగుదును. దరిద్రులయొద్ద పంట మోపులను పుచ్చుకొనుచు మీరు వారిని అణగద్రొక్కు దురు గనుక మలుపురాళ్లతో మీరు ఇండ్లుకట్టుకొనినను వాటిలో మీరు కాపురముండరు, శృంగారమైన ద్రాక్ష తోటలు మీరు నాటినను ఆ పండ్ల రసము మీరు త్రాగరు.

13 ఇది చెడుకాలము గనుక ఈ కాలమున బుద్ధిమంతుడు ఊరకుండును.

14 మీరు బ్రదుకునట్లు కీడు విడిచి మేలు వెదకుడి; ఆలాగు చేసినయెడల మీరనుకొను చొప్పున దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా మీకు తోడుగానుండును.

15 ​కీడును ద్వేషించి మేలును ప్రేమించుచు, గుమ్మములలో న్యాయము స్థిరపరచుడి; ఒక వేళ దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా యోసేపు సంతతిలో శేషించినవారియందు కనికరించును.

16 దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునైన ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగానేను మీ మధ్య సంచరింపబోవు చున్నాను గనుక రాజమార్గములన్నిటిలో అంగలార్పు వినబడును, వీధులన్నిటిలో జనులు కూడి అయ్యో శ్రమ అందురు; అంగలార్చుటకు వారు సేద్యగాండ్రను పిలుతురు; రోదనముచేయ నేర్పుగలవారిని అంగలార్చుటకు పిలిపింతురు.

17 ద్రాక్షతోటలన్నిటిలో రోదనము వినబడును.

18 యెహోవా దినము రావలెనని ఆశపెట్టు కొనియున్న వారలారా, మీకు శ్రమ; యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుటవలన మీకు ప్రయోజనమేమి? అది వెలుగుకాదు, అంధకారము.

19 ఒకడు సింహము నొద్దనుండి తప్పించు కొనగా ఎలుగు బంటి యెదురైనట్టు, వాడు ఇంటిలోనికి పోయి గోడమీద చెయ్యివేయగా పాము వాని కరచి నట్టు ఆ దినముండును.

20 యెహోవా దినము నిజముగా వెలుగైయుండదు కాదా? వెలుగు ఏమాత్రమును లేక అది కారుచీకటిగా ఉండదా?

21 మీ పండుగ దినములను నేను అసహ్యించుకొనుచున్నాను; వాటిని నీచముగా ఎంచు చున్నాను; మీ వ్రత దినములలో కలుగు వాసనను నేను ఆఘ్రాణింపనొల్లను.

22 నాకు దహనబలులను నైవేద్య ములను మీరర్పించినను నేను వాటిని అంగీకరింపను; సమాధాన బలులుగా మీరర్పించు క్రొవ్విన పశువులను నేను చూడను.

23 మీ పాటల ధ్వని నాయొద్దనుండి తొలగనియ్యుడి, మీ స్వరమండలముల నాదము వినుట నాకు మనస్సులేదు.

24 నీళ్లు పారినట్లుగా న్యాయము జరుగనియ్యుడి, గొప్ప ప్రవాహమువలె నీతిని ప్రవహింప నియ్యుడి.

25 ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, అరణ్యమందు నలువది సంవత్సరములు మీరు బలులను నైవేద్యములను నాకు అర్పించితిరా?

26 మీరు మీ దేవతయైన మోలెకు గుడార మును, మీరు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహముల పీఠమును మీరు మోసికొని వచ్చితిరి గదా.

27 కాబట్టి నేను దమస్కు పట్టణము అవతలికి మిమ్మును చెరగొని పోవుదును అని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు; ఆయన పేరు సైన్యముల కధిపతియగు దేవుడు.

1 Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.

2 The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.

3 For thus saith the Lord God; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.

4 For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:

5 But seek not Beth-el, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Beth-el shall come to nought.

6 Seek the Lord, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Beth-el.

7 Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,

8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name:

9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.

10 They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.

11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.

12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.

13 Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

14 Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

15 Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

16 Therefore the Lord, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

17 And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the Lord.

18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.

19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

20 Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.

23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

25 Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?

26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the Lord, whose name is The God of hosts.

4 ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చున దేమనగానన్నాశ్రయించుడి, నన్నాశ్రయించినయెడల మీరు బ్రదుకుదురు.

5 ​బేతేలును ఆశ్రయింపకుడి, గిల్గా లులో ప్రవేశింపకుడి, బెయేర్షెబాకు వెళ్లకుడి; గిల్గాలు అవశ్యముగా చెరపట్టబడిపోవును, బేతేలు శూన్యమగును.

6 యెహోవాను ఆశ్రయించుడి; అప్పుడు మీరు బ్రదుకు దురు, ఆశ్రయింపనియెడల బేతేలులో ఎవరును ఆర్పి వేయలేకుండ అగ్ని పడినట్లు ఆయన యోసేపు సంతతిమీద పడి దాని నాశనముచేయును.

7 న్యాయమును అన్యాయ మునకు మార్చి, నీతిని నేలను పడవేయువారలారా,

14 మీరు బ్రదుకునట్లు కీడు విడిచి మేలు వెదకుడి; ఆలాగు చేసినయెడల మీరనుకొను చొప్పున దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా మీకు తోడుగానుండును.

15 ​కీడును ద్వేషించి మేలును ప్రేమించుచు, గుమ్మములలో న్యాయము స్థిరపరచుడి; ఒక వేళ దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా యోసేపు సంతతిలో శేషించినవారియందు కనికరించును.

16 దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునైన ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగానేను మీ మధ్య సంచరింపబోవు చున్నాను గనుక రాజమార్గములన్నిటిలో అంగలార్పు వినబడును, వీధులన్నిటిలో జనులు కూడి అయ్యో శ్రమ అందురు; అంగలార్చుటకు వారు సేద్యగాండ్రను పిలుతురు; రోదనముచేయ నేర్పుగలవారిని అంగలార్చుటకు పిలిపింతురు.

17 ద్రాక్షతోటలన్నిటిలో రోదనము వినబడును.

18 యెహోవా దినము రావలెనని ఆశపెట్టు కొనియున్న వారలారా, మీకు శ్రమ; యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుటవలన మీకు ప్రయోజనమేమి? అది వెలుగుకాదు, అంధకారము.

19 ఒకడు సింహము నొద్దనుండి తప్పించు కొనగా ఎలుగు బంటి యెదురైనట్టు, వాడు ఇంటిలోనికి పోయి గోడమీద చెయ్యివేయగా పాము వాని కరచి నట్టు ఆ దినముండును.

20 యెహోవా దినము నిజముగా వెలుగైయుండదు కాదా? వెలుగు ఏమాత్రమును లేక అది కారుచీకటిగా ఉండదా?

21 మీ పండుగ దినములను నేను అసహ్యించుకొనుచున్నాను; వాటిని నీచముగా ఎంచు చున్నాను; మీ వ్రత దినములలో కలుగు వాసనను నేను ఆఘ్రాణింపనొల్లను.

22 నాకు దహనబలులను నైవేద్య ములను మీరర్పించినను నేను వాటిని అంగీకరింపను; సమాధాన బలులుగా మీరర్పించు క్రొవ్విన పశువులను నేను చూడను.

23 మీ పాటల ధ్వని నాయొద్దనుండి తొలగనియ్యుడి, మీ స్వరమండలముల నాదము వినుట నాకు మనస్సులేదు.

24 నీళ్లు పారినట్లుగా న్యాయము జరుగనియ్యుడి, గొప్ప ప్రవాహమువలె నీతిని ప్రవహింప నియ్యుడి.

25 ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, అరణ్యమందు నలువది సంవత్సరములు మీరు బలులను నైవేద్యములను నాకు అర్పించితిరా?
