కాగా యెహోషాపాతు కనబడుటతోనే రథాధిపతులు అతడు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజనుకొని యుద్ధము చేయుటకు అతని చుట్టుకొనిరి, గాని యెహోషాపాతు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టినందున యెహోవా అతనికి సహాయము చేసెను, దేవుడు అతని యొద్దనుండి వారు తొలగిపోవునట్లు చేసెను.
