1 Chronicles 29:1
రువాత రాజైన దావీదు సర్వసమాజముతో... ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనుదేవుడు కోరుకొనిన నా కుమారుడైన సొలొమోను ఇంకను లేతప్రాయముగల బాలుడై యున్నాడు, కట్టబోవు ఆలయము మనుష్యునికి కాదు దేవుడైన యెహోవాకే గనుక ఈ పని బహు గొప్పది.

గోత్రముల పెద్దలను, వంతులచొప్పున రాజునకు... సేవచేయు అధిపతులను సహస్రాధిపతులను, శతాధిపతులను, రాజునకును రాజుకుమారులకును కలిగియున్న యావత్తు చరాస్తిమీదను స్థిరాస్తిమీదను ఉన్న అధిపతులను, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలనందరిని రాజునొద్ద నున్న పరివారమును పరాక్రమశాలులను సేవా సంబంధులైన పరాక్రమ శాలులనందరిని రాజగు దావీదు యెరూష లేమునందు సమకూర్చెను.

అయినను నీవు మందిరమును కట్టించకూడదు; నీ నడుములోనుండి పుట్ట బోవు నీ కుమారుడు నా నామఘనతకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించును.
