Ruth 1:16
అందుకు రూతునా వెంబడి రావద్దనియు నన్ను విడిచి పెట్టుమనియు నన్ను బ్రతిమాలుకొనవద్దు. నీవు వెళ్లు చోటికే నేను వచ్చెదను, నీవు నివసించుచోటనే నేను నివసించెదను, నీ జనమే నా జనము నీ దేవుడే నా దేవుడు;

| from following after | לָשׁ֣וּב | lāšûb | la-SHOOV |
| for thee: | מֵאַֽחֲרָ֑יִךְ | mēʾaḥărāyik | may-ah-huh-RA-yeek |
| whither | כִּ֠י | kî | kee |
| אֶל | ʾel | el | |
| thou goest, | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| go; will I | תֵּֽלְכִ֜י | tēlĕkî | tay-leh-HEE |
| and where | אֵלֵ֗ךְ | ʾēlēk | ay-LAKE |
| thou lodgest, | וּבַֽאֲשֶׁ֤ר | ûbaʾăšer | oo-va-uh-SHER |
| I will lodge: | תָּלִ֙ינִי֙ | tālîniy | ta-LEE-NEE |
| people thy | אָלִ֔ין | ʾālîn | ah-LEEN |
| shall be my people, | עַמֵּ֣ךְ | ʿammēk | ah-MAKE |
| God thy and | עַמִּ֔י | ʿammî | ah-MEE |
| my God: | וֵֽאלֹהַ֖יִךְ | wēʾlōhayik | vay-loh-HA-yeek |
| אֱלֹהָֽי׃ | ʾĕlōhāy | ay-loh-HAI |
