అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు మిద్యాను స్త్రీలను వారి చిన్న పిల్ల లను చెరపట్టుకొని, వారి సమస్త పశువులను వారి గొఱ్ఱ మేకలన్నిటిని వారికి కలిగినది యావత్తును దోచుకొనిరి.

நீங்கள் பணஆசை இல்லாதவர்களாக நடந்து, உங்களுக்கு இருக்கிறவைகளே போதும் என்று எண்ணுங்கள்; நான் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகுவதும் இல்லை, உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதும் இல்லை என்று அவர் சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே.

பண ஆசையில் இருந்து உனது வாழ்வை விலக்கிவை. உன்னிடம் இருப்பதைக்கொண்டு திருப்தி அடைந்துகொள். தேவன், “நான் உன்னை ஒருபோதும் கைவிடமாட்டேன். நான் உன்னை விட்டு விலகமாட்டேன்” என்று கூறியிருக்கிறார்.
