అందుకు ప్రజలుయెహోవాను విసర్జించి యితరదేవతలను సేవించినయెడల మేము శాప గ్రస్తుల మగుదుము గాక.

| forsake should we that | לָּ֔נוּ | lānû | LA-noo |
| מֵֽעֲזֹ֖ב | mēʿăzōb | may-uh-ZOVE | |
| the Lord, | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| to serve | יְהוָ֑ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| other | לַֽעֲבֹ֖ד | laʿăbōd | la-uh-VODE |
| gods; | אֱלֹהִ֥ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
| אֲחֵרִֽים׃ | ʾăḥērîm | uh-hay-REEM |
