కాబట్టి రాజైన సిద్కియా సెలవియ్యగా బంటులు బందీగృహ శాలలో యిర్మీయాను వేసి, పట్టణములో రొట్టెలున్నంత వరకు రొట్టెలు కాల్చువారి వీధిలోనుండి అనుదినము ఒక రొట్టె అతనికిచ్చుచు వచ్చిరి; ఇట్లు జరుగగా యిర్మీయా బందీగృహశాలలో నివసించెను.

Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
