Jeremiah 17:8
వాడు జలములయొద్ద నాటబడిన చెట్టువలె నుండును; అది కాలువల ఓరను దాని వేళ్లు తన్నును; వెట్ట కలిగినను దానికి భయపడదు, దాని ఆకు పచ్చగానుండును, వర్షములేని సంవత్సరమున చింతనొందదు కాపు మానదు.

| river, the | שָֽׁרָשָׁ֔יו | šārāšāyw | sha-ra-SHAV |
| and shall not | וְלֹ֤א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| see | יִרְאֶ֙ | yirʾe | yeer-EH |
| when | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| heat | יָבֹ֣א | yābōʾ | ya-VOH |
| cometh, | חֹ֔ם | ḥōm | home |
| but her leaf | וְהָיָ֥ה | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| be shall | עָלֵ֖הוּ | ʿālēhû | ah-LAY-hoo |
| green; | רַֽעֲנָ֑ן | raʿănān | ra-uh-NAHN |
| and shall not | וּבִשְׁנַ֤ת | ûbišnat | oo-veesh-NAHT |
| careful be | בַּצֹּ֙רֶת֙ | baṣṣōret | ba-TSOH-RET |
| in the year | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| of drought, | יִדְאָ֔ג | yidʾāg | yeed-Aɡ |
| neither | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| shall cease | יָמִ֖ישׁ | yāmîš | ya-MEESH |
| from yielding | מֵעֲשׂ֥וֹת | mēʿăśôt | may-uh-SOTE |
