Genesis 23:13
సరేకాని నా మనవి ఆలకించుము. ఆ పొలమునకు వెల యిచ్చెదను; అది నాయొద్ద పుచ్చు కొనినయెడల మృతిబొందిన నా భార్యను పాతి పెట్టెదనని ఆ దేశ ప్రజలకు వినబడు నట్లు ఎఫ్రోనుతో చెప్పెను.

| thou | אַתָּ֥ה | ʾattâ | ah-TA |
| thee, pray I it, give wilt | ל֖וּ | lû | loo |
| hear | שְׁמָעֵ֑נִי | šĕmāʿēnî | sheh-ma-A-nee |
| give will I me: | נָתַ֜תִּי | nātattî | na-TA-tee |
| thee money | כֶּ֤סֶף | kesep | KEH-sef |
| field; the for | הַשָּׂדֶה֙ | haśśādeh | ha-sa-DEH |
| take | קַ֣ח | qaḥ | kahk |
| it of | מִמֶּ֔נִּי | mimmennî | mee-MEH-nee |
| bury will I and me, | וְאֶקְבְּרָ֥ה | wĕʾeqbĕrâ | veh-ek-beh-RA |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| my dead | מֵתִ֖י | mētî | may-TEE |
| there. | שָֽׁמָּה׃ | šāmmâ | SHA-ma |
