וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֵלַ֔י said ay-LAI בֶּן unto ben אָדָ֕ם me, ah-DAHM אֵ֥ת Son ate אֲשֶׁר of uh-SHER תִּמְצָ֖א man, teem-TSA אֱכ֑וֹל eat ay-HOLE אֱכוֹל֙ ay-HOLE אֶת that et הַמְּגִלָּ֣ה thou ha-meh-ɡee-LA הַזֹּ֔את findest; ha-ZOTE וְלֵ֥ךְ eat veh-LAKE דַּבֵּ֖ר this da-BARE אֶל el בֵּ֥ית roll, bate יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ and yees-ra-ALE -
וָאֶפְתַּ֖ח I va-ef-TAHK אֶת opened et פִּ֑י pee וַיַּ֣אֲכִלֵ֔נִי my va-YA-uh-hee-LAY-nee אֵ֖ת mouth, ate הַמְּגִלָּ֥ה and ha-meh-ɡee-LA הַזֹּֽאת׃ he ha-ZOTE -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֵלַ֗י said ay-LAI בֶּן unto ben אָדָם֙ me, ah-DAHM בִּטְנְךָ֤ Son beet-neh-HA תַֽאֲכֵל֙ of ta-uh-HALE וּמֵעֶ֣יךָ man, oo-may-A-ha תְמַלֵּ֔א cause teh-ma-LAY אֵ֚ת thy ate הַמְּגִלָּ֣ה belly ha-meh-ɡee-LA הַזֹּ֔את to ha-ZOTE אֲשֶׁ֥ר eat, uh-SHER אֲנִ֖י and uh-NEE נֹתֵ֣ן fill noh-TANE אֵלֶ֑יךָ thy ay-LAY-ha וָאֹ֣כְלָ֔ה bowels va-OH-heh-LA וַתְּהִ֥י with va-teh-HEE בְּפִ֖י this beh-FEE כִּדְבַ֥שׁ roll keed-VAHSH לְמָתֽוֹק׃ that leh-ma-TOKE -
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֵלָ֑י said ay-LAI בֶּן unto ben אָדָ֗ם me, ah-DAHM לֶךְ Son lek בֹּא֙ of boh אֶל man, el בֵּ֣ית go, bate יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל get yees-ra-ALE וְדִבַּרְתָּ֥ thee veh-dee-bahr-TA בִדְבָרַ֖י unto veed-va-RAI אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ the uh-lay-HEM -
כִּ֡י thou kee לֹא֩ art loh אֶל not el עַ֨ם sent am עִמְקֵ֥י to eem-KAY שָׂפָ֛ה a sa-FA וְכִבְדֵ֥י people veh-heev-DAY לָשׁ֖וֹן of la-SHONE אַתָּ֣ה a ah-TA שָׁל֑וּחַ strange sha-LOO-ak אֶל speech el בֵּ֖ית and bate יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of yees-ra-ALE -
לֹ֣א׀ to loh אֶל many el עַמִּ֣ים people ah-MEEM רַבִּ֗ים of ra-BEEM עִמְקֵ֤י a eem-KAY שָׂפָה֙ strange sa-FA וְכִבְדֵ֣י speech veh-heev-DAY לָשׁ֔וֹן and la-SHONE אֲשֶׁ֥ר of uh-SHER לֹֽא an loh תִשְׁמַ֖ע hard teesh-MA דִּבְרֵיהֶ֑ם language, deev-ray-HEM אִם whose eem לֹ֤א words loh אֲלֵיהֶם֙ thou uh-lay-HEM שְׁלַחְתִּ֔יךָ canst sheh-lahk-TEE-ha הֵ֖מָּה not HAY-ma יִשְׁמְע֥וּ understand. yeesh-meh-OO אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ Surely, ay-LAY-ha -
וּבֵ֣ית the oo-VATE יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל house yees-ra-ALE לֹ֤א of loh יֹאבוּ֙ Israel yoh-VOO לִשְׁמֹ֣עַ will leesh-MOH-ah אֵלֶ֔יךָ not ay-LAY-ha כִּֽי hearken kee אֵינָ֥ם unto ay-NAHM אֹבִ֖ים thee; oh-VEEM לִשְׁמֹ֣עַ for leesh-MOH-ah אֵלָ֑י they ay-LAI כִּ֚י will kee כָּל not kahl בֵּ֣ית hearken bate יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל unto yees-ra-ALE חִזְקֵי me: heez-KAY מֵ֥צַח for MAY-tsahk וּקְשֵׁי all oo-keh-SHAY לֵ֖ב the lave הֵֽמָּה׃ house HAY-ma -
הִנֵּ֨ה I hee-NAY נָתַ֧תִּי have na-TA-tee אֶת made et פָּנֶ֛יךָ pa-NAY-ha חֲזָקִ֖ים thy huh-za-KEEM לְעֻמַּ֣ת face leh-oo-MAHT פְּנֵיהֶ֑ם strong peh-nay-HEM וְאֶֽת against veh-ET מִצְחֲךָ֥ their meets-huh-HA חָזָ֖ק faces, ha-ZAHK לְעֻמַּ֥ת and leh-oo-MAHT מִצְחָֽם׃ thy meets-HAHM -
כְּשָׁמִ֛יר an keh-sha-MEER חָזָ֥ק adamant ha-ZAHK מִצֹּ֖ר harder mee-TSORE נָתַ֣תִּי than na-TA-tee מִצְחֶ֑ךָ flint meets-HEH-ha לֹֽא have loh תִירָ֤א I tee-RA אוֹתָם֙ made oh-TAHM וְלֹא thy veh-LOH תֵחַ֣ת forehead: tay-HAHT מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם fear mee-peh-nay-HEM כִּ֛י them kee בֵּ֥ית not, bate מְרִ֖י neither meh-REE הֵֽמָּה׃ be HAY-ma -
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֵלָ֑י said ay-LAI בֶּן unto ben אָדָ֕ם me, ah-DAHM אֶת Son et כָּל of kahl דְּבָרַי֙ man, deh-va-RA אֲשֶׁ֣ר uh-SHER אֲדַבֵּ֣ר all uh-da-BARE אֵלֶ֔יךָ my ay-LAY-ha קַ֥ח words kahk בִּֽלְבָבְךָ֖ that bee-leh-vove-HA וּבְאָזְנֶ֥יךָ I oo-veh-oze-NAY-ha שְׁמָֽע׃ shall sheh-MA -
וְלֵ֨ךְ go, veh-LAKE בֹּ֤א get boh אֶל thee el הַגּוֹלָה֙ to ha-ɡoh-LA אֶל them el בְּנֵ֣י of beh-NAY עַמֶּ֔ךָ the ah-MEH-ha וְדִבַּרְתָּ֤ captivity, veh-dee-bahr-TA אֲלֵיהֶם֙ unto uh-lay-HEM וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ the veh-ah-mahr-TA אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם children uh-lay-HEM כֹּ֥ה of koh אָמַ֖ר thy ah-MAHR אֲדֹנָ֣י people, uh-doh-NAI יְהוִֹ֑ה and yeh-hoh-EE אִֽם speak eem יִשְׁמְע֖וּ unto yeesh-meh-OO וְאִם them, veh-EEM יֶחְדָּֽלוּ׃ and yek-da-LOO -
וַתִּשָּׂאֵ֣נִי the va-tee-sa-A-nee ר֔וּחַ spirit ROO-ak וָאֶשְׁמַ֣ע took va-esh-MA אַחֲרַ֔י me ah-huh-RAI ק֖וֹל up, kole רַ֣עַשׁ and RA-ash גָּד֑וֹל I ɡa-DOLE בָּר֥וּךְ heard ba-ROOK כְּבוֹד behind keh-VODE יְהוָ֖ה me yeh-VA מִמְּקוֹמֽוֹ׃ a mee-meh-koh-MOH -
וְק֣וֹל׀ heard veh-KOLE כַּנְפֵ֣י also kahn-FAY הַחַיּ֗וֹת the ha-HA-yote מַשִּׁיקוֹת֙ noise ma-shee-KOTE אִשָּׁ֣ה of ee-SHA אֶל the el אֲחוֹתָ֔הּ wings uh-hoh-TA וְק֥וֹל of veh-KOLE הָאוֹפַנִּ֖ים the ha-oh-fa-NEEM לְעֻמָּתָ֑ם living leh-oo-ma-TAHM וְק֖וֹל creatures veh-KOLE רַ֥עַשׁ that RA-ash גָּדֽוֹל׃ touched ɡa-DOLE -
וְר֥וּחַ the veh-ROO-ak נְשָׂאַ֖תְנִי spirit neh-sa-AT-nee וַתִּקָּחֵ֑נִי lifted va-tee-ka-HAY-nee וָאֵלֵ֥ךְ me va-ay-LAKE מַר֙ up, mahr בַּחֲמַ֣ת and ba-huh-MAHT רוּחִ֔י took roo-HEE וְיַד me veh-YAHD יְהוָ֥ה away, yeh-VA עָלַ֖י and ah-LAI חָזָֽקָה׃ I ha-ZA-ka -
וָאָב֨וֹא I va-ah-VOH אֶל came el הַגּוֹלָ֜ה to ha-ɡoh-LA תֵּ֣ל them tale אָ֠בִיב of AH-veev הַיֹּשְׁבִ֤ים the ha-yoh-sheh-VEEM אֶֽל captivity el נְהַר at neh-HAHR כְּבָר֙ Tel-abib, keh-VAHR וָֽאֵשֵׁ֔ר that va-ay-SHARE הֵ֖מָּה dwelt HAY-ma יוֹשְׁבִ֣ים by yoh-sheh-VEEM שָׁ֑ם the shahm וָאֵשֵׁ֥ב river va-ay-SHAVE שָׁ֛ם of shahm שִׁבְעַ֥ת Chebar, sheev-AT יָמִ֖ים and ya-MEEM מַשְׁמִ֥ים I mahsh-MEEM בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ sat beh-toh-HAHM -
וַיְהִ֕י it vai-HEE מִקְצֵ֖ה came meek-TSAY שִׁבְעַ֣ת to sheev-AT יָמִ֑ים pass ya-MEEM וַיְהִ֥י at vai-HEE דְבַר the deh-VAHR יְהוָ֖ה end yeh-VA אֵלַ֥י of ay-LAI לֵאמֹֽר׃ seven lay-MORE -
בֶּן of ben אָדָ֕ם man, ah-DAHM צֹפֶ֥ה I tsoh-FEH נְתַתִּ֖יךָ have neh-ta-TEE-ha לְבֵ֣ית made leh-VATE יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל thee yees-ra-ALE וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֤ a veh-sha-ma-TA מִפִּי֙ watchman mee-PEE דָּבָ֔ר unto da-VAHR וְהִזְהַרְתָּ֥ the veh-heez-hahr-TA אוֹתָ֖ם house oh-TAHM מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ of mee-MEH-nee -
בְּאָמְרִ֤י I beh-ome-REE לָֽרָשָׁע֙ say la-ra-SHA מ֣וֹת unto mote תָּמ֔וּת the ta-MOOT וְלֹ֣א wicked, veh-LOH הִזְהַרְתּ֗וֹ Thou heez-hahr-TOH וְלֹ֥א shalt veh-LOH דִבַּ֛רְתָּ surely dee-BAHR-ta לְהַזְהִ֥יר die; leh-hahz-HEER רָשָׁ֛ע and ra-SHA מִדַּרְכּ֥וֹ thou mee-dahr-KOH הָרְשָׁעָ֖ה givest hore-sha-AH לְחַיֹּת֑וֹ him leh-ha-yoh-TOH ה֤וּא not hoo רָשָׁע֙ warning, ra-SHA בַּעֲוֺנ֣וֹ ba-uh-voh-NOH יָמ֔וּת nor ya-MOOT וְדָמ֖וֹ speakest veh-da-MOH מִיָּדְךָ֥ to mee-yode-HA אֲבַקֵּֽשׁ׃ warn uh-va-KAYSH -
וְאַתָּה֙ if veh-ah-TA כִּֽי thou kee הִזְהַ֣רְתָּ warn heez-HAHR-ta רָשָׁ֔ע the ra-SHA וְלֹא wicked, veh-LOH שָׁב֙ and shahv מֵֽרִשְׁע֔וֹ he may-reesh-OH וּמִדַּרְכּ֖וֹ turn oo-mee-dahr-KOH הָרְשָׁעָ֑ה not hore-sha-AH ה֚וּא from hoo בַּעֲוֺנ֣וֹ his ba-uh-voh-NOH יָמ֔וּת wickedness, ya-MOOT וְאַתָּ֖ה nor veh-ah-TA אֶֽת from et נַפְשְׁךָ֥ his nahf-sheh-HA הִצַּֽלְתָּ׃ wicked hee-TSAHL-ta -
וּבְשׁ֨וּב When oo-veh-SHOOV צַדִּ֤יק a tsa-DEEK מִצִּדְקוֹ֙ righteous mee-tseed-KOH וְעָ֣שָׂה man veh-AH-sa עָ֔וֶל doth AH-vel וְנָתַתִּ֥י turn veh-na-ta-TEE מִכְשׁ֛וֹל from meek-SHOLE לְפָנָ֖יו his leh-fa-NAV ה֣וּא righteousness, hoo יָמ֑וּת and ya-MOOT כִּ֣י commit kee לֹ֤א iniquity, loh הִזְהַרְתּוֹ֙ and heez-hahr-TOH בְּחַטָּאת֣וֹ I beh-ha-ta-TOH יָמ֔וּת lay ya-MOOT וְלֹ֣א a veh-LOH תִזָּכַ֗רְןָ stumblingblock tee-za-HAHR-na צִדְקֹתָו֙ before tseed-koh-TAHV אֲשֶׁ֣ר him, uh-SHER עָשָׂ֔ה he ah-SA וְדָמ֖וֹ shall veh-da-MOH מִיָּדְךָ֥ die: mee-yode-HA אֲבַקֵּֽשׁ׃ because uh-va-KAYSH -
וְאַתָּ֞ה if veh-ah-TA כִּ֧י thou kee הִזְהַרְתּ֣וֹ warn heez-hahr-TOH צַדִּ֗יק the tsa-DEEK לְבִלְתִּ֥י righteous leh-veel-TEE חֲטֹ֛א man, huh-TOH צַדִּ֖יק that tsa-DEEK וְה֣וּא the veh-HOO לֹא righteous loh חָטָ֑א sin ha-TA חָי֤וֹ not, ha-YOH יִֽחְיֶה֙ and yee-heh-YEH כִּ֣י he kee נִזְהָ֔ר doth neez-HAHR וְאַתָּ֖ה not veh-ah-TA אֶֽת sin, et נַפְשְׁךָ֥ he nahf-sheh-HA הִצַּֽלְתָּ׃ shall hee-TSAHL-ta -
וַתְּהִ֥י the va-teh-HEE עָלַ֛י hand ah-LAI שָׁ֖ם of shahm יַד the yahd יְהוָ֑ה Lord yeh-VA וַיֹּ֣אמֶר was va-YOH-mer אֵלַ֗י there ay-LAI ק֥וּם upon koom צֵא֙ me; tsay אֶל and el הַבִּקְעָ֔ה he ha-beek-AH וְשָׁ֖ם said veh-SHAHM אֲדַבֵּ֥ר unto uh-da-BARE אוֹתָֽךְ׃ me, oh-TAHK -
וָאָקוּם֮ I va-ah-KOOM וָאֵצֵ֣א arose, va-ay-TSAY אֶל and el הַבִּקְעָה֒ went ha-beek-AH וְהִנֵּה forth veh-hee-NAY שָׁ֤ם into shahm כְּבוֹד the keh-VODE יְהוָה֙ plain: yeh-VA עֹמֵ֔ד and, oh-MADE כַּכָּב֕וֹד behold, ka-ka-VODE אֲשֶׁ֥ר the uh-SHER רָאִ֖יתִי glory ra-EE-tee עַל of al נְהַר the neh-HAHR כְּבָ֑ר Lord keh-VAHR וָאֶפֹּ֖ל stood va-eh-POLE עַל there, al פָּנָֽי׃ as pa-NAI -
וַתָּבֹא the va-ta-VOH בִ֣י spirit vee ר֔וּחַ entered ROO-ak וַתַּעֲמִדֵ֖נִי into va-ta-uh-mee-DAY-nee עַל me, al רַגְלָ֑י and rahɡ-LAI וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר set vai-da-BARE אֹתִי֙ me oh-TEE וַיֹּ֣אמֶר upon va-YOH-mer אֵלַ֔י my ay-LAI בֹּ֥א feet, boh הִסָּגֵ֖ר and hee-sa-ɡARE בְּת֥וֹךְ spake beh-TOKE בֵּיתֶֽךָ׃ with bay-TEH-ha -
וְאַתָּ֣ה thou, veh-ah-TA בֶן O ven אָדָ֗ם son ah-DAHM הִנֵּ֨ה of hee-NAY נָתְנ֤וּ man, note-NOO עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ behold, ah-LAY-HA עֲבוֹתִ֔ים they uh-voh-TEEM וַֽאֲסָר֖וּךָ shall va-uh-sa-ROO-ha בָּהֶ֑ם put ba-HEM וְלֹ֥א bands veh-LOH תֵצֵ֖א upon tay-TSAY בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ thee, beh-toh-HAHM -
וּלְשֽׁוֹנְךָ֙ I oo-leh-shoh-neh-HA אַדְבִּ֣יק will ad-BEEK אֶל make el חִכֶּ֔ךָ thy hee-KEH-ha וְנֶֽאֱלַ֔מְתָּ tongue veh-neh-ay-LAHM-ta וְלֹא cleave veh-LOH תִֽהְיֶ֥ה to tee-heh-YEH לָהֶ֖ם the la-HEM לְאִ֣ישׁ roof leh-EESH מוֹכִ֑יחַ of moh-HEE-ak כִּ֛י thy kee בֵּ֥ית mouth, bate מְרִ֖י that meh-REE הֵֽמָּה׃ thou HAY-ma -
וּֽבְדַבְּרִ֤י when oo-veh-da-beh-REE אֽוֹתְךָ֙ I oh-teh-HA אֶפְתַּ֣ח speak ef-TAHK אֶת with et פִּ֔יךָ thee, PEE-ha וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ I veh-ah-mahr-TA אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם will uh-lay-HEM כֹּ֥ה open koh אָמַ֖ר ah-MAHR אֲדֹנָ֣י thy uh-doh-NAI יְהוִֹ֑ה mouth, yeh-hoh-EE הַשֹּׁמֵ֤עַ׀ and ha-shoh-MAY-ah יִשְׁמָע֙ thou yeesh-MA וְהֶחָדֵ֣ל׀ shalt veh-heh-ha-DALE יֶחְדָּ֔ל say yek-DAHL כִּ֛י unto kee בֵּ֥ית them, bate מְרִ֖י Thus meh-REE הֵֽמָּה׃ saith HAY-ma
