పౌలు ఇంకను బహుదినములక్కడ ఉండిన తరువాత సహోదరులయొద్ద సెలవు పుచ్చుకొని, తనకు మ్రొక్కుబడి యున్నందున కెంక్రేయలో తల వెండ్రుకలు కత్తిరించుకొని ఓడ యెక్కి సిరియకు బయలుదేరెను. ప్రిస్కిల్ల అకుల అనువారు అతనితోకూడ వెళ్లిరి.
