Deuteronomy 31:16
యెహోవా మోషేతో యిట్లనెనుఇదిగో నీవు నీ పితరు లతో పండుకొనబోవుచున్నావు. ఈ జనులు లేచి, యెవరి దేశమున తాము చేరి వారి నడుమ నుందురో ఆ జనులమధ్యను వ్యభిచారులై, ఆ అన్యుల దేవతల వెంట వెళ్లి నన్ను విడిచి, నేను వారితో చేసిన నిబంధనను మీరుదురు.

| sleep shalt thou | שֹׁכֵ֖ב | šōkēb | shoh-HAVE |
| with | עִם | ʿim | eem |
| thy fathers; | אֲבֹתֶ֑יךָ | ʾăbōtêkā | uh-voh-TAY-ha |
| this and | וְקָם֩ | wĕqām | veh-KAHM |
| people | הָעָ֨ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| will rise up, | הַזֶּ֜ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| whoring a go and | וְזָנָ֣ה׀ | wĕzānâ | veh-za-NA |
| after | אַֽחֲרֵ֣י׀ | ʾaḥărê | ah-huh-RAY |
| the gods | אֱלֹהֵ֣י | ʾĕlōhê | ay-loh-HAY |
| strangers the of | נֵֽכַר | nēkar | NAY-hahr |
| of the land, | הָאָ֗רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| whither | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| ה֤וּא | hûʾ | hoo | |
