Daniel 10:16
అప్పుడు నరస్వరూపియగు ఒకడు నా పెదవులను ముట్టగా నేను నోరు తెరచి నాయెదుట నిలిచియున్న వానితో ఇట్లంటిని నా యేలినవాడా, యీ దర్శనమువలన నాకు వేదన కలిగినందున నా బలము తొలగిపోయెను,

| עַל | ʿal | al | |
| my lips: | שְׂפָתָ֑י | śĕpātāy | seh-fa-TAI |
| then I opened | וָאֶפְתַּח | wāʾeptaḥ | va-ef-TAHK |
| mouth, my | פִּ֗י | pî | pee |
| and spake, | וָאֲדַבְּרָה֙ | wāʾădabbĕrāh | va-uh-da-beh-RA |
| and said | וָאֹֽמְרָה֙ | wāʾōmĕrāh | va-oh-meh-RA |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| him that stood | הָעֹמֵ֣ד | hāʿōmēd | ha-oh-MADE |
| before | לְנֶגְדִּ֔י | lĕnegdî | leh-neɡ-DEE |
| lord, my O me, | אֲדֹנִ֗י | ʾădōnî | uh-doh-NEE |
| by the vision | בַּמַּרְאָה֙ | bammarʾāh | ba-mahr-AH |
| sorrows my | נֶהֶפְכ֤וּ | nehepkû | neh-hef-HOO |
| are turned | צִירַי֙ | ṣîray | tsee-RA |
| upon | עָלַ֔י | ʿālay | ah-LAI |
| retained have I and me, | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| no | עָצַ֖רְתִּי | ʿāṣartî | ah-TSAHR-tee |
| strength. | כֹּֽחַ׃ | kōaḥ | KOH-ak |
