ఆహాజు ఏలనారంభించి నప్పుడు ఇరువది యేండ్లవాడై యెరూషలేమునందు పదు నారు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను. తన పితరుడగు దావీదు తన దేవుడైన యెహోవా దృష్టికి నీతిగా ప్రవర్తించినట్లు అతడు ప్రవర్తింపక ఇశ్రాయేలురాజులు ప్రవర్తించినట్లు ప్రవర్తించెను.
