ఇశ్రాయేలురాజు నాలుగువందల మంది ప్రవక్తలను సమకూర్చినేను రామోత్గిలాదుమీదికి యుద్ధమునకు పోవుదునా మానుదునా అని వారి నడిగెను. అందుకువారుపొమ్ము, దేవుడు రాజు చేతికి దానినప్పగించు నని చెప్పిరి.
