దేవుని మందసమను మాట అతడు పలుకగానే ఏలీ ద్వారముదగ్గర నున్న పీఠము మీదనుండి వెనుకకు పడి మెడవిరిగి చనిపోయెను; ఏల యనగా అతడు వృద్ధుడై బహు స్థూలదేహియై యుండెను. అతడు నలువది సంవత్సరములు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు న్యాయము తీర్చెను.
