1 Kings 8:30
మరియు నీ దాసుడనైన నేనును నీ జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును ఈ స్థలముతట్టు తిరిగి ప్రార్థన చేయునప్పుడెల్ల, నీ నివాసస్థానమైన ఆకాశమందు విని మా విన్న పము అంగీకరించుము; వినునప్పుడెల్ల మమ్మును క్షమించుము.

| the supplication | תְּחִנַּ֤ת | tĕḥinnat | teh-hee-NAHT |
| servant, thy of | עַבְדְּךָ֙ | ʿabdĕkā | av-deh-HA |
| and of thy people | וְעַמְּךָ֣ | wĕʿammĕkā | veh-ah-meh-HA |
| Israel, | יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| when | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| pray shall they | יִֽתְפַּלְל֖וּ | yitĕppallû | yee-teh-pahl-LOO |
| toward | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| this | הַמָּק֣וֹם | hammāqôm | ha-ma-KOME |
| place: | הַזֶּ֑ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| and hear | וְ֠אַתָּה | wĕʾattâ | VEH-ah-ta |
| thou | תִּשְׁמַ֞ע | tišmaʿ | teesh-MA |
| in | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| heaven | מְק֤וֹם | mĕqôm | meh-KOME |
| thy dwelling | שִׁבְתְּךָ֙ | šibtĕkā | sheev-teh-HA |
| place: | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| and when thou hearest, | הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם | haššāmayim | ha-sha-MA-yeem |
| forgive. | וְשָֽׁמַעְתָּ֖ | wĕšāmaʿtā | veh-sha-ma-TA |
| וְסָלָֽחְתָּ׃ | wĕsālāḥĕttā | veh-sa-LA-heh-ta |
