ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਸਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ।

ਦਾਨੀ ਐਲ 7:28

ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਤਰੱਖਾਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਸੇਸ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ, ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।” ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਝ ਹੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ। ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਰਾਉਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।” ਇਉਂ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਮੰਨ ਗਿਆ।

ਬੱਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪੇ ਬਚਿਓ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ।
੧ ਪਤਰਸ 2:21
ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੱਦਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਖਾਤਿਰ ਦੁੱਖ ਝੱਲਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਦ ਚਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
