Luke 13:5
ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲੋਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।”

ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲੋਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਹੋਣ: “ਇੱਥੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼, ਓੱਥੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼। ਇੱਥੇ ਨੇਮ, ਓੱਥੇ ਨੇਮ। ਇੱਥੇ ਸਬਕ, ਓੱਥੇ ਸਬਕ।”2
