“ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਉ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਆਟੇ ਦੀ ਚੱਕੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਭੋਜਨ ਖੋਹਣ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਤੀਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਸਲੂਕ ਹੋਵੇ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।

ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹਾਂ। ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਗਊ ਚੁਰਾਈ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਖੋਤਾ ਚੁਰਾਇਆ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਚੁਰਾਇਆ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਣੇ ਦੀ ਵੱਢੀ ਲਿੱਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਦੇਖਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂ। ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਨੀ-ਪੂਰਤੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”

ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਪੈਸੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਣ, ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਇਹ ਸਿੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੋੜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਗਿਰਵੀ ਰੱਖੇ ਹੋਣ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਅਕਾਰਣ ਹੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ।

“ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਸੀ।
