Isaiah 51:21
ਗਰੀਬ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਸੁਣ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ। ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਾਬੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੈਂ ਪਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦਾ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਪਿਆਲੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੈ।

ਯਸਈਆਹ 51:17
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਗੋ! ਜਾਗੋ! ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਉੱਠ ਪਵੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਸੀ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਲੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੀਣਾ ਪੈਣਾ ਸੀ, ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਪੀ ਲਿਆ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 54:11
“ਤੂੰ, ਹੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਨਗਰੀੇ! ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਧਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਕੂਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸਾਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੁਨਿਆਦ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਮਸਾਲਾ ਵਰਤਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਪੱਥਰ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਬੁਨਿਆਦ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ।
