Genesis 8:22
ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਹੈ, ਇੱਥੇ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਣ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਕੱਟਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਇੱਥੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਰਦੀ ਤੇ ਗਰਮੀ, ਗਰਮੀ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦੀ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ, ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।”

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲ ਸੱਕਦੇ। ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਠੀਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਜੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਸੱਕਦੇ

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੇਗਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ: “ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੂਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਚਮਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਚੰਨ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਮਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਿਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ। ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ:
ਯਾਕੂਬ 5:7
ਸਬਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣੋ ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ ਸਬਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣੋ; ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਸਬਰ ਕਰੋ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਸਬਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੁੱਲਵਾਨ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਭੋਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉੱਗਣ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਸਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 54:8
ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸਾਂ ਤੇ ਬੋੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਛੁਪ ਗਿਆ ਸਾਂ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਮਿਹਰ ਭਰਿਆ ਸੱਕੂਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।” ਤੇਰੇ ਮੁਕਤੀਦਾਤੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 45:6
ਅਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਾਈ ਜਾਂ ਵਾਢੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 34:21
“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਛੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਬੀਜਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਢਣ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ ਅਰਾਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
