ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਦੀਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ। (ਸਿੱਦੀਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਅੱਜ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਖਾਰਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ।)

ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਹੈ। ਗਲੀਲੀ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ ਇਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਡੈਡ ਸੀ (ਖਾਰਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ) ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਿਸਗਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਹਨ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 3:16
ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੌਰਨ ਹੀ, ਪਾਣੀ ਵਗਣੋ ਰੁਕ ਗਿਆ। ਪਾਣੀ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਪਾਣੀ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੱਲ ਦੂਰ ਤੀਕ ਉੱਚਾ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ-(ਸਾਰਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ) ਆਦਮ ਤੀਕ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਨਦੀ ਪਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 19:24
ਓਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਦੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੂਰਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਦਾ ਮੀਂਹ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਇਆ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਪਜਾਊ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕਲਰੀ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
