ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬੋਅਜ਼ ਨੇ ਰੂਥ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਦੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਨਾਲ ਰੂਥ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਨਮਿਆ।

ਹੁਣ, ਮੁਟਿਆਰੇ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਆਖੇਗੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਸਾਡੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਔਰਤ ਹੈ।

Genesis 20:17
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਬੀਮਲਕ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਂਝ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਬੀਮਲਕ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਾਰਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਬੀਮਲਕ, ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
