Proverbs 26:21
ਸੜਿਆ ਕੋਲਾ ਕੋਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਘਦਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਬਲਦਾ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਲੜਾਈ ਝਗੜ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਸ਼ਬਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਸੇ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਬਿਕਰੀ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਬਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਹਿਯਾਤ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਵਜਾਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡਾ ਕੋਈ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਵੰਡ ਯੱਸੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ! ਚਲੋ ਸਭ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੀਏ!”

ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਕਿ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਮੁੜ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਭਜਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਮਗਰ ਨਾ ਲੱਗਾ।
