Proverbs 26:16
ਆਲਸੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਚਤੁਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਪਣੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
