ਸੁਸਤ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ (ਕੰਮ ਤੇ) ਹੁਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਬੱਬਰ-ਸ਼ੇਰ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਧਰੇ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇ।”

ਇੱਕ ਸੁਸਤ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਕੰਡਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਆਲਸੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ “ਸੜਕ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਹੈ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਹੈ।”
