Proverbs 19:7
ਇੱਕ ਗਰੀਬ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵੀ ਤਿਰਸੱਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਪਰਹੇਜ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਮੀਰ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਦੋਸਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

ਗਰੀਬ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਕੁਰੱਖਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

James 2:15
ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਭਰਾ ਜਾਂ ਭੈਣ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਲਈ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਹੋਣ।

Proverbs 21:13
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਲੋੜ ਪੈਣ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

ਇੱਕ ਗਰੀਬ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਪਰ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਦੋਸਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਮੇਰੇ ਯਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇੱਕ ਅਛੂਤ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰੀ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਕੈਦ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸੱਕਦਾ।
