ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਹਨੁਮਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਕੌਮ ਦਾ ਪਤਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਪਰ ਅਨੇਕ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਪੱਕ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਰਾਜਸੀ ਫੁੱਟ ਨਾਬਾਟ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੱਜਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਮਿਲੀ, ਉਹ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਯਹਰਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੁੜਿਆ। ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੇ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਹਬੁਆਮ ਨਵਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਿਆ।
Proverbs 16:22
ਚੰਗੀ ਸੂਝ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਝਰਨਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਕਿ ਮੂਰਖ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਬੇਵਕੂਫ਼ੀ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Isaiah 19:11
“ਸੋਆਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਨ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ‘ਸਿਆਣੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ’ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਗੂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਖਾਨਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।”
