Proverbs 1:28
“ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮੰਗੋਂਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਾਂਗੀ।

| not will I but me, | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| answer; | אֶֽעֱנֶ֑ה | ʾeʿĕne | eh-ay-NEH |
| early, me seek shall they | יְ֝שַׁחֲרֻ֗נְנִי | yĕšaḥărunnî | YEH-sha-huh-ROON-nee |
| but they shall not | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| find | יִמְצָאֻֽנְנִי׃ | yimṣāʾunĕnî | yeem-tsa-OO-neh-nee |
