Romans 7:2
ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਇੱਕ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਔਰਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਤੋਂ, ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Romans 7:2

For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
