Psalm 80:16
ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਝਿੜਕ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਗੋਹੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਵੇਲਾਂ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਟਾਹਣੀਆਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਟਾਹਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਣਗੀਆਂ।ਲੋਕ ਸਮਝਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਿਕ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ: ਦੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਾਂ। ਅੱਗ ਹਰ ਹਰੇ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਬਲਦੀ ਲਾਟ ਬੁਝੇਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਦੱਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਤੀਕ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੜ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 15:6
ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਟਹਿਣੀ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
