1 ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਿਆ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਗੀਤ। ਮੈਂ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਪਰ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮਦਦ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆਵੇਗੀ।

2 ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮਦਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਵੇਗੀ।

3 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਸੌਵੇਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ।

4 ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਂਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਦੇ ਸੌਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।

5 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

6 ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਅਤੇ ਚੰਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

7 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਖਤਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ।

8 ਆਉਣ ਜਾਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

1 A Song of degrees.

2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

3 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

4 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

5 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

6 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

7 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

8 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

9 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
