Psalm 103:9
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਦਾ ਨੁਕਤਾਚੀਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ।

ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਲੜਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਰੂਹ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਉਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 3:5
ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਰਾਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ।’ “ਯਹੂਦਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜਿੰਨੀ ਤੂੰ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ।”

ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ, ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਾ: “‘ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬੇਵਫ਼ਾ ਲੋਕੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਰਤ ਆਓ।’ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ। ‘ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਰਾਜ਼ ਹੋਣਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਰਹਿਮ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹਾਂ।’ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ। ‘ਮੈਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਰਾਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।
ਮੀਕਾਹ 7:18
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦੋਖ ਬਖਸ਼ ਦੇਵੇ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਖਿਮਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਦੇਰ ਉਹ ਕਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਚਿਤ੍ਤ ’ਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਧਰਦਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਹੈ।
