ਗਿਣਤੀ 18:17
“ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਲੋਠੀ ਦੀ ਗਊ, ਭੇਡ ਜਾਂ ਬੱਕਰੀ ਲਈ ਕੀਮਤ ਅਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਇਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਖੂਨ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਛਿੜਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜੋ ਇਹ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦੀ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
