ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 15:13
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਯਫ਼ੁੰਨਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਰਯਥ ਅਰਬਾ (ਹਬਰੋਨ) ਦਾ ਕਸਬਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। (ਅਰਬਾ ਅਨੋਕ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੀ)
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 11:21
ਅਨਾਕੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਬਰੋਨ, ਦਬਿਰ, ਅਨਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 19:13
ਸੋਆਨ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਮੂਰਖ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਨੋਫ਼ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਝੂਠਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਸੱਤ ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਾ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਨਗਰ ਤਾਈਂ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ?” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਚਲਾ ਜਾ।” ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਜਾਵਾਂ?” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹਬਰੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲਿਆਂ ਜਾ।”
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 21:13
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। (ਹਬਰੋਨ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸੀ।) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ,

ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਯਫ਼ੁੰਨਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਪਰੱਖ ਪੜਤਾਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਨੇਗੇਵ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘਕੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਉ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 23:2
ਉਸਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਿਯਤ ਅਰਬਾ (ਹਬਰੋਨ) ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 13:18
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਤੰਬੂ ਪੁੱਟ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਮਮਰੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ। ਇਹ ਥਾਂ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ।
