ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਆਖੋ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਜਣਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਡੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਗਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮਾਰਚ ਕਰਨ। ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਗਿਰਦ ਸੱਤ ਵਾਰੀ ਮਾਰਚ ਕਰੋ। ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਮਾਰਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ।

ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਹੇਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਹੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਬਰਕਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਬਰਕਯਾਹ ਸ਼ਿਮਆ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।

ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ: ਜ਼ਕੂਰ, ਯੂਸੁਫ਼, ਨਥਾਨਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਰੇਲਾਹ। ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਤੇ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਮਰਾਰੀ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਇਹ ਸਨ: ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਸਾਹ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਿਮਰੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ। (ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਿਮਰੀ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਚੁਣਿਆ।)

ਲੇਵੀ ਗਵਈਏ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਖਲੋ ਗਏ। ਗਵਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮੂਹ, ਆਸਾਫ਼, ਹੀਮਾਨ, ਅਤੇ ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਅਨਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾ ਇੱਕਤ੍ਰ ਹੋਏ। ਸਾਰੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਗਵਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਸੂਤੀ ਚੋਲੇ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰੰਗੀਆਂ, ਚਿਮਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਤਾਰਾਂ ਸਨ। ਓੱਥੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਗਵਈਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਕੁੱਲ 120 ਜਾਜਕ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ 120 ਜਾਜਕ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਈਏ ਇੱਕੋ ਸੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
੨ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 13:12
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ! ਉਹੀ ਸਾਡਾ ਸ਼ਾਸਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਨ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਜੋਰ ਦੀ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ! ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਾ ਲੜੋ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਪਾਵੋਂਗੇ।”
ਨਹਮਿਆਹ 11:17
ਮਤਨਯਾਹ, (ਮਤਨਯਾਹ ਮੀਕਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ, ਮੀਕਾ ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ, ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ), ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਸੀ। ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਸਤਤ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾਵਾਂ ਗਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਬਕਬੁਕਯਾਹ, (ਬਕਬੁਕਯਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਰਜੇ ਤੇ ਸੀ) ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮੂਆ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਦਾ (ਸ਼ਮੂਆ ਗਾਲਾਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਲਾਲ ਯਦੂਬੂਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।)
