ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ; ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਾਹਵੇਹ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਦਰ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣਗੇ।’ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ।’”

ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਜੀਅ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਚਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਝਾੜੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ‘ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ’ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ।
