ਯੱਸੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੀ। ਦਾਊਦ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੀ। (ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਰੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸੀ।)
