ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖਤ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਏਹੂਦ ਆਪਣਾ ਖੱਬਾ ਹੱਥ ਵੱਧਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੱਟ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲਈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਏਹੂਦ ਨੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਪੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਭ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
