ਦੂਸਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਸੁਵਖਤੇ ਹੀ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ।

“ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਖਾਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਬਣਾਓ। ਇਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ। ਇਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਬਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਭੇਂਟ ਕਰੋ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਕਰੋ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਸਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉਸਾਰ। ਇਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਉੱਚੀ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਸਾਰ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਵਹਿੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਕੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਕਰ। ਅਸ਼ੇਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮ ਦੀ ਲੱਕੜ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਲੈ।”

ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਇੱਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਨਸਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਉਂਦੇ।
