ਨਹਮਿਆਹ 8:2
ਤਾਂ ਅਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਹ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਨੂੰ ਔਰਤਾਂ, ਮਰਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ, ਅੱਗੇ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਸੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਸਨ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਮਾੜਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣ ਦੇਵੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕੋ ਨਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ।

ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 26:2
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਲੋ ਜਾ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਵੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਆਖੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਛੱਡੀ ਨਾ।
ਅਜ਼ਰਾ 10:1
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਅਜ਼ਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਬਨਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਵੀ। ਉਹ ਰੋ-ਰੋ ਕੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਜ਼ਰਾ ਇਉਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗਿਰਦ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਧਾਹਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਰੋਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 29:11
ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ-ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਲੱਕੜੀਆਂ ਕੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਭਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਵਾਧਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਚੀਜ਼ ਘੱਟ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।

ਉੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਸਨ-ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
