ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 7:17
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖਲੋ ਗਏ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਰਾਹ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜ਼ਰਾਹ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਖਲੋ ਗਏ। ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ஆதலால் தேவஞானமானது: நான் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும் அப்போஸ்தலர்களையும் அவர்களிடத்தில் அனுப்புவேன்; அவர்களில் சிலரைக் கொலைசெய்து, சிலரைத் துன்பப்படுத்துவார்கள்;

எனவே தேவனின் ஞானமானது, ‘நான் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும், சீஷர்களையும், அவர்களிடம் அனுப்புவேன். தீய மனிதரால் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளிலும் சீஷர்களிலும் சிலர் கொல்லப்படுவார்கள். வேறு சிலர் துன்புறுத்தப்படுவார்கள்’” என்று உரைத்தார்.
