ਅਸਤਸਨਾ 31:3
ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਸਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 1:13
“ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਥਾਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 1:15

ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 22:4
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਰਦਨ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਊਬੇਨ, ਗਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੁਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਕਨਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ-ਜਿਹੜੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਸਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਚਲਦਾ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
