ਗਦੇਰੋਥ, ਬੈਤ ਦਾਗੋਨ, ਨਅਮਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਕੇਦਾਹ। ਕੁੱਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਇਹ 16 ਕਸਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਖੇਤ ਸਨ।

ਲੜਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਮੱਕੇਦਾਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਏ। ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇੰਨਾ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੁਝ ਆਖ ਸੱਕੇ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 10:10
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਲਝਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦਾ ਗਿਬਓਨ ਤੋਂ ਬੈਤ ਹੋਰੋਨ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਅਜ਼ੇਕਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਕੇਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਇਆ।
ਯਸ਼ਵਾ 10:28
ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਮੱਕੇਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਮੱਕੇਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
