ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਇਸਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਬਿਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੱਚਿਆ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਬਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਸਲੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
