John 19:41
ਜਿਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲੀਬ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਗ ਸੀ। ਉੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਕਬਰ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਬਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੇ ਔਰਤ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਰੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੀ ਹੈਂ?” ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਇਸ ਬਾਗ ਦਾ ਮਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਨਾਬ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਵਾਂ।”

ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਲੋਥ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਗਿੱਦੋ ਤੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਬਰ ਬਣਾਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ। ਤਦ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 22:16
ਉਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛੋ, “ਤੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ? ਤੈਨੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਲਈ ਕਬਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤਰਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਕਿਸਨੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ?

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿਉ ਕਿ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਕਬਰ ਦੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਆਕੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅਖੀਰਲਾ ਪੱਖੰਡ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਭੈੜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
